- What are YOUR needs? Why are you selling, what opportunities does this give you? The answers to this question will matter greatly during the sale of your home and how an agent goes about necessitating the sale.
- Price. This is less a question and more of a conversation. What is the price you NEED or EXPECT for your home? Trusting in the agent to price a home correctly for the current market is KEY in having a successful sale. Having this conversation up front will alleviate much of a seller's stressors curing the offer and negotiation period.
- Timing. Again, more of a conversation piece, but understanding the timing of a sale will impact everything. When do you want to leave the home or finalize the sale? Is this a 1031 or like property exchange with time constraints? How will a rent back affect the sale if needed?
