We had a blast sponsoring Tee #6 at Willow Grove Elementary School‘s annual golf tournament fundraiser. This event earns a significant amount of money for one of the top schools in the Poway School District and it was quite an event!
We marveled at the incredible Santaluz scenery sitting out on the golf course and added a bit of fun to our Tee by blindfolding players and having them “pin the chimney on the house.” The few players who were spot on had the option to take a shot of our Red Label Johnny Walker or we offered to take one in their place.
The breathtaking surroundings, serene setting, and camaraderie amongst the players made for a fantastic day. After the tournament ended we moved on to the nighttime event.
First we witnessed the helicopter drop — over 830 raffled off golf balls were dropped from a helicopter, and the lucky winner (the ball closest to the hole) won $2500.
Next we enjoyed the silent auction, tray passed appetizers, and beverages during the cocktail hour. The dinner consisted of a gourmet buffet, great conversation, and a live auction that raised thousands for dollars for Willow Grove. Some fun dancing was the perfect end to the night.
We can’t wait to go again next year! Willow Grove is one mile away from our office and we have helped several residents with their home needs. We love being a part of this fantastic community!
